Cuxhaven - Germany
Only a two hour train ride away from Hamburg you’ll find this cute town at the north sea of Germany where the high and low tide change up the landscape every day. We did a day trip walking by the beach front and enjoyed the relaxed nature of this town.
View from the “Alte Liebe” the old love observation platform.
Matching the old love mood we saw a red rose floating by 😉
Firefighter training session on the ocean.
It was high tide when we got here and most of the walkways by the beach where slightly flooded.
That was supposed to the the normal walkway…
Cool dude 😉
When we left the low tide was advancing and people started walking through the mudflatt. At the north sea the water retrieves twice a day with is a lovely phenomena. But you need to be carefull to get back in time when you venture out as the ocean will get back and a wave might cut your way. So it is recommended to only go further with a local guide.
