Hakata Old Town Area

We didn’t spend much time in Fukuoka. It was our stop from Hiroshima to Nagasaki and back to Himeji. We arrived at night and the next morning had a gorgeous breakfast and a walk through downtown. Would our journey not have been packed so much allready we would have shurely enjoyed to have stayed a bit longer. Maybe a next time!

Behind every door there seems to be a cute garden. We loved to explore the area.

Canal City Hakata - a big shopping mall with a nice food court as well. What a beautiful city at night!

Nakasu Food Stalls Street with yummy dishes where you can try one or two different and then switch to the next one.

Never imagined a ticket machine to get onto the platform as complex as it actually is!

The luxury of driving in a Shinkansen. So much space!
