Mr. Robson & Wells Gray Provincial Park - Canada

Not far from the border from Alberta to British Columbia, if you cross over from Jasper you find the Mount Robson Provincial Park. We just passed by and had a short stay. Afterwards we drove down south had an easy overnight stay by a small local laka and on the next day enjoyed out time at the Wells Gray Provincial Park. After a day in the park we drove further south to Kamloops.

Mount Robson Provincial Park

The peak of the Mount Robson was hiding behind clouds when we got there. We waited a little and then drove off. When at the other side of the road we saw something moving… And look what we spotted, a super young bear.

While we watched the cute bear munching the clouds cleared up and were able to see the 3954 meters high peak of Mount Robson.

If you want to have a short hike, the one to the Overlander Falls was easy and nice.

Wells Gray Provincial Park

This provincial park was really beautiful and we could have spend way more time there than just the one day we had. Beware, you need mosquito spray.

At the Spahats Creek Falls you stand by a railing and it goes down pretty deep. It took me a while is outstretched hands to get nearer to the border to take a look and a picture…

Dawson Falls

The Helmcken Falls was the most impressing of all the waterfalls, even though the others were really beautiful themselves.

Such powerful water masses!
