Nanaimo - Canada

Nanaimo was on the way from Victoria to Tofino and we decided to stay two nights as we got there late night and wanted to leave early after the second. So, we only spend one full day in Nanaimo and unfortunately it was a rainy one. It was during the week so the city was kind of dead. In summer and with nice weather it might have its charm, but we weren’t to excited about this city. It has some cute areas, and there are some nice provincial parks nearby but I don’t think I’ll visit it again. Maybe only for a small stop on the way. But would I visit the provincial park in the surroundings again? Absolutely yes! The nature around the island is stunning!

Barsby Park with autumn colors.

Autumn feels through all the city.

On the way walking through downtown we saw a lot of rabbits on the street all of them looked nice and had individual patterns, but they seemed to just live there.

Isn't this a cute nose?!

Canadian working standards ;) Just kidding, I hope they are not professionals XD

Nice grafitti with autumn trees in the streets of Nanaimo.

The Old City Quarter is ready for Halloween.

Englishman River Falls Provincial Park

Since it was raining very strong on this small hike I wasn't able to get the nices pictures, but at least one of these impressive upper falls :)

MacMillan Provincial Park & Cathedral Grove

Moody day ❤

The scale doesn't really show on this picture, but this tree was huge! Some in this park are over 800 years old, this one here was the oldest and tallest.

This is a different tree than the one above, actually a bit smaller than it, but you'll have me in front of it as a scale to see how big they are.

Foggy Rainforest MacMillan Provincial Park & Cathedral Grove, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada

Rainforest feels.

Humid and all covered with plants.

Moss, little plants, fungi and further more. Nature takes back ❤

Me taking the picture above :)

Rainy day...

... love these moody feels!

Can't emphasize how much I love this rainforest look!

Our car btw, the humidity took over in it as well ;)
